By Iman Lababedi | March 10, 2014

Not much going on this week, unless the thought of a new Elbow album excites you in unusual ways, it sure doesn’t me. Or Metronomy, who should be fired if only for the crap band name, or a Young Money compilation except if our friend the lovely and popular Chanel West Coast is on it.

I far prefer the Extra Songs to the Next Day ones -especially this Bruce rip, and I made that for the third Crenshaw EP, it is the first time it is the covers I am loving more than the new song. Explosions – Chanel West Coast – Probably the best song off her mix tape, the beats are awesome, little explosions in the middle of the song, a systematic banging and her tone is agressive enoough for chick hop – B+
