The battle is between Colbert and Fallon this week, Ed Sheeran and Bill Withers versus Disclosure. Disclosure was not the disastrous album I was expecting (OK, OK, hoping for) so it might be fun to see em in person. On the other hand… Sheeran is just going to oversing so much, it might well be unbearable…
1971 was a great year for what we now call classic rock – Rod Stewart, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and The Who all released indispensable albums. Boiling down 1971 to 20 A+ tracks was no easy feat – my apologies to the Chi-Lites and the Stylistics, among others.
