Swedish House Mafia feat. John Martin “Don’t You Worry Child”, Reviewed

Electro-dance sensation and raver favorite Swedish House Mafia has released, what is rumoured to be, their final single. In June of this year, SHM revealed on their website that their current tour will be their last. Though it saddened a lot of ravers, SHM’s latest single “Don’t You Worry Child”cheered them right back up. This track, off their latest album, is really the perfect track for a fantastic band to bow out to.

“Don’t You Worry Child” really has everything that all the great electro dance songs of the past 5 years have had. From a simple start comes a gradual building of sound that peaks at a tremendous hook before the sound hits again, the beat drops, and you just have to close your eyes and get a little lost. I can easily see myself partying to this song, let alone the thousands upon thousands of people who will remember this song played live on Swedish House Mafia’s last tour for the rest of their lives.

While I was at Camp Bisco in July, I met a lot of people who wished Swedish House Mafia had been there and with “Don’t You Worry Child”,it’s really no wonder why. This band, especially if they had this song up their sleeves, would have had every drugged out college kid at Bisco losing their shit. While it’s a real shame that Swedish House Mafia will be breaking up after their One Last Tour, this really just means that I will DEFINITELY be trying my hardest to get to whichever of their tour dates is closest to me.

You can keep an eye on the countdown til tour dates are released at onelasttour.com and on September 25th you will be able to preorder Until Now, the soundtrack to One Last Tour. Until Now will be available globally on October 19th and I personally can not fuckin wait.
