Have I ever said just how much I freakin’ love The Summer Set? So when they did an AP Session, I just had to watch.
“Punch Drunk Love” live is outstanding. Probably one of their best songs, it’s even better live. The band’s so together and it’s more than impressive.
“The Boys You Do(Get Back At You)” is my favourite song by TSS and it’s fantastic live. It’s close to perfect, and the recorded version doesn’t even compare to the live and raw version. It’s absolutely outstanding.
“My Own Worst Enemy” originally by LIT, is about ten times better by The Summer Set. They just add a lot, and I love this song in itself, but to see one of my favourite bands redo it is awesome. When he forgot the words, it was adorable and the “sha do be do” made it that much better.
They were clearly having fun and it was contagious.
