All you need to do is get on the right mailing list and you can find out stuff like this before the great unwashed (ie me).
MTV.com and Webster Hall have reached an agreement whereby MTV record live performances “Guerrila style” at the Studio at Webster Hall (the tiny room I reviewed My Pet Dragon from) and simulcast em on MTV.com.
A pretty fucking awesome concept though I am not sure what shows they will be streaming, I can see no downside for My Pet Dragon being streamed live on mtv.com
It all begins at an (“invitation only”) hipper than though gig by the Drums (even Morrissey likes these guys, dunno why they leave me so cold) at 300 SRO the Studio tonight, being streamed live at 9pm.
I wouldn’t mind seeing how it all works and will get in touch with em and see if I can set it up.
