Stone Temple Music: Tiny Music? Big Album

I was never a big STP fan but I loved their Tiny Music… Songs From The Vatican Gift Shop and firmly believe “Pop Love’s Suicide” is one of the great songs of the grunge era. It was as though they took Eddie Vedder and mixed him with Marc Bolan.

At Madison Square Garden in 1996 they were much, much better than Smashing Pumpkins who I saw at the same venue around the same time.

Now comes news that STP are releasing a new album which begs the question. Scott Weiland’s still alive?
