What do you do when your bassist is dead?
Well.. what if he always wore a mask anyway.. suppose you could fill it with someone else.
Or could you?
Maggots everywhere are worried, whats going to happen to Slipknot now?
Say what you will about their onstage persona, (which I find rather comedic), they got talent and have made some killer music.
Corey Taylor said ‘its too soon to say’. Indeed.
But its summer festival time.. and no Knot leaves a noticeable void in scream.
What bothers me is Taylor announcing hes “ecstatic” over the reception of Stone Sours new material. Stone Sour being Coreys side dish wimp rock pop crap.
Wow.. that was fast.
What really is the appropriate amount of mourning time?
Quoting Taylor to Billboard:
“I’m just sort of blown away and ecstatic. There’s a lot of buzz and people are really stoked. This album is not only better than the first two Stone Sour albums combined, to me it’s the most well-rounded and diverse album I’ve ever been able to make. The music is just so visceral, and Mission Statement is a perfect example of where it’s at. That’s a great anthem. It’s got a little bit of the heavy but also is melodic as hell.”
It appears to me Mr. Taylor has shaken off the Knot.
I would be VERY surprised if the void left by Paul Gray is ever filled
I think Slipknot is done. Maggots fight back- are you gonna allow this?
Stone Sour? SlipKnot?
Corey sold out. G’head gimme crap for it.. All that’s left is that “Through Glass” is it.
Taxi!
