What the fuck is a Mt Desolation?
Yet another side project but this one with members of The Killers and Keane.
I couldn’t really find much about them but they’re bloggers so meh. AND a free download of their single “State of Our Affairs”.
Now its hard to imagine that I can like this. its slow its echoy its sorta Southern roadside motel sounding. Like a soundtrack to a Kris Kristopherson film, all 70s and gritty. .Lead singer has a gorgeous sultry voice. Almost spoken in story telling and well. Alt- Country?? Its a win.
Mt. Desolation’s full-length album is set for release later this year and is being produced by Emery Dobyns. They will make their live debut on July 4 in London. That’s pretty much all I could rustle up on it but the song is beautiful. Pay attention, this could be something.
