In an act 1) larcenous and 2) poorly judged, Sony Music made a deal with the producers of “Glee” whereby the singers/actors received nothing in royalties, according to Page Six.
Though Sony signed a deal with Lea Michele, a big though I admit, they missed out on Corey Montieth, Mark Salling and Matthew Morrison.
Corey said: “I got 400 bucks from its going to # 1”.
It seems to me, Sony have been stupid and short sighted but the real villain of the piece is executive producer Ryan Murphy who did nothing to help or protect his stars.
