Some Thoughts On the New Keith Richard Auto-Bio

I had essentially decided to pass on Keith Richard’s “Life:” here is why:
1. I spend all my spare time writing so I really have no time to read
2. It hit me as being just 40 year old gossip.
3. Plus ghosted so who really cares, because it is going to read like a tiptoe thru the tulips.
I mean it couldn’t be like his mentor’s bio, this one, could it?
Chuck’s bio is pretty brilliant stuff: hard edge, into the muck and mire of racist American, getting battered by thieves from Chess records and liars from the justice department, voodooing  him with tax evasion and Mann acts.
Like ringing a bell.
Well, the New York Times claim the latter and mentions stuff like Richard’s in  depth writing about, wow, writing “Ruby Tuesday”. We’ve all read how Keef woke up with the riff to “Satisfaction” running through his brain. But “Ruby Tuesday”??
So no, to Mick having a small dick (we reported this months ago , by the way) and yes to recording Between The Buttons.
Expect my review six months from now.
