So how were the Strokes at the Met for Tommy Hilger’s private gig.
I saw em at radio city Music Hall, a comparable sight, and the blew the house down.
But I have a number of friends who saw em and rumbled they were well off their game for their first NYC performance in half a decade.
I saw Julian at Irving Plaza earlier this year and he blew me away, but a possessed Julian in a small venue (and I squeezed near the front of the stage) is not a rusty Strokes in front of an invitation only audience.
