When it comes to festivals I am the anti-Bach (not to mention the anti-Woody Fuller come to think of it). I wouldn’t go if you paid me.
So I won’t be schlepping to Coney Island Saturday July 17th or the following day.

2p – Screaming Females. They record for boy wonder Joe Steindhardt’s indie record label Don Giovanni Records and they are a fabulously noisy punk rock band who put a, to put it mildly, exciting live show.
3p Surfer Blood – So hit it hurts. Really.
5p The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart – The most intensely melodic emo band imaginable. Last time I saw em I thought they weren’t so fab live but that was a long long time ago.
