HOLY —————————————————-!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Simple Plan, a band that basically got me into liking music in the first place, has released a new song. Called "Can't Keep My Hands Off You", I was just about ready to bash it because I expected they'd changed immensely.
My jaw hit the floor once I hit "play". It sounds like classic Simple Plan, with a more mature twist. Not even close to mainstream, but could be played at any kind of party. The versatile, loved-by-everyone sound of it is just totally mind blowing.
PLUS IT FEATURES RIVERS CUOMO OF WEEZER.
The beat is so catchy and I just want to stop writing this so I can stupidly flail around my bedroom, falling over, and calling it dancing.
It's so damn catchy. (sorry for that word mom, no other word can express the feeling)
Words can't even begin to describe my immense and undeniable love for this song. Justin Pierre's voice hasn't changed a bit, and their sound is still just as raw and fun and unpredictable as ever.
I'm glad this band, a revolutionary and a favourite for anyone who grew up loving music in the more underground scene, hasn't changed so much we can't recognize 'em.
On June 21st, when the album comes out, I won't be able to keep my hands off it.
