I put my iTunes on shuffle to catch up on music I haven't heard in a while. I didn't even know I still had half this stuff.
1. "Bleed, Everyone's Doing It"- The Spill Canvas. This has to be one of my favourite songs of all time. The lyrics are so clever and musically it's refreshing. The Spill Canvas is a band I've lost interest in, but this song is one I never skip on shuffle.
2. "So Much Love"- The Rocket Summer. This is the first song I heard by them, and it's the song that introduced me to the genius Bryce Avary is. It'll always hold a special place for me. If I hadn't heard this song, I would've never even bothered listening to TRS.
3. "We're All The Same"- Artist Vs Poet. This reminds me of a long car ride I went on with one of my best friends. It's upbeat and fun and a good party song, plus when you have a song that reminds you of a fun even, it's nice to remember it.
4. "Cinema"- Skrillex. Probably one of the most famous dubstep songs of right now, the bass and the intricately woven sounds are beauteous. I remember when I first heard it. It's nlike anything else, and it's totally great.
5. "Love Like This"- The Summer Set. It's catchy and a fantastic song to listen to when you're at the gym. I would have it on repeat when I was on the treadmill or bike. It is an instant pick me up.
Go onto your music library, hit 'shuffle', and reminisce.
