"Shake" Yin Yang Twins (ft Pitbull), Reviewed

What the hell is my problem with the Pitbull thing?

I would never have hit play if this wasn't featuring Pitbull.

The Yin Yang Twins?  They were created by Ryan Seacrest? What??  This Georgia based rap duo aren't not exactly the type of band I would have tapped but I'm actually glad I did.

The song shake "Shake" is a hot mess of thumps and bongo stuff peppered with some filth and a nice dash of Mr 305.

This thing is six years old released in 2006, it never made it past the #41 spot on Billboard but what the hell do they know about music anyway?

The song as it is intended is much better than the video below.  Why they chose unattractive gloss girls is beyond me, but it does work better with the PG lyrics they have substituted.

In this video they are on the worlds smallest stage-it could well be a kitchen table with a DJ on it.  Its silly and I'm not sure why they even opted to do a video when it really really tarnishes a song that had a bite.

BUT

Pitbull is the hero here.  Yup, its true.  The Yin and The Yang are ok, but they're just the dun dun dun, of it all.  Pitbull gives it spice.
