Say Anything are a band that get me instantly pissed off. I hear them every day and every time I cringe. Vocally painful and repetitive I have no idea how they have gained such a following but apparently its is a matter of right place right time.
What I find almost as annoying is the ego required to release a self documentary when you as a band have been around for a shorter span of time than my Doc Martins. Lets face it this is a brilliant way of cashing in on a career that has the shelf life of Wonder Bread.
The documentary chronicles the making of their album 'Anarchy My Dear" and well everyone just squeal with delight at the site of Max Bemis and the boys tuning guitars and wearing headphones. This should come along with other merchandising ideas cuz these guys need to get while the getting is good and their fans parents are willing to pay.
