Sarah McLachlin Is Streaming At My House (For My Sins) by Iman Lababedi

The great thing about streaming albums on AOL is that after worrying about whether I’ve been fair to an album I’ve only bought a song for,  I can listen to it and decide. So all back to AOLDull CD Listening party.
Laws of Illussion – Sarah McLachlin – This chick is like Joni Mitchell if Joni, couldn;t write a song and had the brain of an overactive peanut. Execrable.
Mojo – Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers – Just awful. Petty forgets everything he does well on this tedious blues lickalama. Exists for the sole purpose of making me feel superior to 90% of the rock critics in the world. One song is called “Running Man’s Bible” and sounds worse. PS: this guy sucks live -anybody who tells you otherwise is lying scum.
I’m Alive, I’m Dreaming – The Ready Set – Pop-rock and pretty good pop-rock for the ready set for teendoms.
Time Flies – Oasis – Nine out of thirteen of these songs are must owns, so you already own em. The other four aren’t so you don’t.
Playing For Change Live – The Toots Hibbert song is awesome. I just bought of it. The rest, if you’re in the market for “Love Is My Religion” go right ahead. Me? I like it and if I had more money I’d buy it all.
Existential – Grupo Fantasma – Funk plus salsa should work for me but doesn’t. The rhythms are too busy for either form.
