Ryan Adams’ fans should be totally pleased with the recent announcement of a massive live vinyl collection entitled ‘Live After Deaf’… just read the description posted by Pax-Am, his own label:
‘Oh hey you guys, did you want more information on Live after Deaf ? OK.
144 tracks of live acoustic Ryan spread across 15 vinyl discs…with a download card featuring all 144 tracks PLUS an additional 74 digital-only bonus tracks (yup, that’s a total of 218 tracks) all in a heavyweight cloth box. Super Duper limited numbers available ONLY at paxamrecords.com beginning 1:30 p.m. EST on Friday, June 15’.
This impressive collection looks like a Christmas present for Adams’ fans in the middle of June, except there was a little problem: the fans crashed multiple websites hours before the box set went on sale!
The label posted an update, apologizing for the crash, and explaining they were not expecting such a high demand! They have now rescheduled the release on Monday 18th at 4 pm EDT… they should have known better, $130 for so many tracks is quite cheap, plus vinyl records are the hottest thing around in the music business right now.
