In Spinner today the great Rufus Wainwright has annouced that he is working on a new album and after a full jazz orchestra for his Judy Garland AT Carnegie Hall set and writing a fullscale opera, Rufus is going back to basis.
“I’m recording my next album, which is a solo piano/voice record and it’s oddly enough turning out to be the most difficult thing I’ve ever done” Rufus told Spinner.
The new album includes “Who You ARe In New York” -an up with NYC ode, “It’s my positive Americasong”. Rufus says and I for one can not wait.
