A while ago, The Rocket Summer released Of Men and Angels: B-Sides and I kept on meaning to get it, but never did. Today I bought it(because I got high honors in school!) and I was blown away.
“Every If and Every Why” is just beautiful. The sincere lyrics and genuine voice make this song so full of emotion, it’s fantastic.
“Say” is catchy and upbeat and I love it. It’s a bit different from other things he’s done in the past, but in the best way. Bryce never fails to touch me in a way no other musician can.
“How Many Times” is so uplifting. It’s completely moving. I must say that The Rocket Summer’s lyrics are not only poetry to me, but it feels like the words are just to me. Each song, especially this one, is like another story I’m being told.
“Peace Come Over You” is so pure that it nearly brought me to tears. It’s beyond gorgeous, beyond perfection. This is, without a doubt, my favourite song on this b-side. It’s inspirational and just flat-out great.
So what’re you waiting for. Go and get Of Men and Angels: B-Sides and be moved.
