Fashion lines are to rock stars what fragrances were to pop stars ten years ago. Don't leave home without it, added value to your contract, all you need is a nose and a dream. Hysterically enough Beth Cosentino, whose idea of high fashion is a visor and flip flops has her own line of clothing. Er?I guess she has a certain look though it is not Kanye's haute fashion or Jigga's casual hip hop, or the sneakers, or the splashing hand me down dresses or… really, any one with a name can do it because the truth of the matter is that, like the fragrance, all the rock stars are doing are giving them name to other people's concepts.
many years ago, before Sade was a star, I was speaking to her at a party, saying what the help had music to do with fashion, she thought I was quite funny and noted my lack of fashion sense (dirty jeans and a tee dotted with red paint: me not her).
