Look at it this way. what’s the point of running your own music blog if you can’t write obsessively about the music you love and I LOVE FOR SCIENCE.
The quality of the songwriting is just ridiculous, it is insane. How can they hit it so hard , so often. And here is my latest fave -what is it? the tenth in two weeks that has just blown everything else away….in many ways it’s completely heartbreaking. “It’s just a matter of time before she meets another guy”.
She has moved to Colorado and if he doesn’t get there she is gone “I’m so in love with her and I don’t think she knows”.
“You caught me at the very moment that I started to write this song…” it begins in real time and by the end, barely a minute later, he is stretching out ‘ti-yi-yi-yi-ime” like a hiccup in time and place, and you are singing along. This song isn’t long enough, it should last two hours.
I will never forgive myself for only getting into For Science till after the fact.
I hope whoever wrote these songs never ever stops.
