Listen, I love LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy as much as the next rock fanatic and more than most. But I can’t for the life of me figure out why he is burying his band LCD Soundsystem.
I mean, what exactly does he gain by burying the franchise? What does it even mean? Cmon dude, it is a one man band, and that one man isn’t dead, soo0 what is the difference between a James Murphy and an LCD Soundsytem album?
It feels as though it is a meaningless move, it feels as if it lacks integrity, even as James roars at the ticket brokers and addds dates at T5
