Remember: Friday Is NEW ALBUM RELEASE DAY
Yes, folks, Friday is the new Tuesday and if you have had to spend an extra three days listening to Neil Young, now praise the Lord Alight the long wait is over and when you go on Spotify or Apple Play or Rdio, there they will be waiting at 5am tomorrow, all shiny and new and ready to be ripped apart by your friendly neighborhood rock critic.
This has been one long three days (if you see what I mean), I feel like a junkie, who knows his supplier is coming in from Marseilles tomorrow morning. Gonna get to bed early, put oon my alarm clock and at 5am, all new music all the time.
I do think Friday isn’t a good day for this stuff, why not just have the US change to Monday, right? You want the comfort of new old sounds over the weekend, you’ll have weeded out the crap and away you go with three days of favorites. I spent last weekend listening to Vince, Miguel and Neil, exactly what I wanted to listen to. Now I am gonna be playing catch as catch can, listening hard as it is all new stuff.
