Off subject I realise but I was saddened to hear of the death of one of my fave comedic actors of all time yesterday. Ian Carmichael was so perfect as Bertram Woosters in the early sixties I could never really warm up to the bloke from House later.
The thought of Carmichael up on the roof being attacked by a swan (while Dennis Price as Jeeves goes about saving him sang froid intact) still creases me.
Great actor, great funny man. RIP…
