There is a rumor circulating on the internet, started by hitsdailydouble since everyone seems to refer to them, about Coachella's 2012 line up.
According to that ‘rumor’, Radiohead and No Doubt are the two headliners for next year,. Here is the quote from the hitsdailydouble website:‘… and though rock record revenues have diminished, the concert business, led by acts with multi-decade careers playing arenas and stadiums, has held steady and in some cases has actually increased. The same is true with high-profile festivals like Coachella, which has locked in No Doubt and Radiohead as two of next year’s headliners…’
The organizers have already announced that Coachella will expand its craziness to two full weekends, on April 13-15 and 20-22, and Radiohead in particular, would be really big business for Goldenvoice. However, this same source had also announced that the Rolling Stones were ‘close to finalizing a deal' to headline the event last year, and it never happened,… but who knows for 2012?
