It seems long ago cuz it was, 2001 was the last time Gwen Stefani and her band No Doubt put out any new material. The band went on hiatus Gwen did a couple of solo works but as for newness from the band- the cupboard was bare.
No Doubt is a band that really shows growth. From the retro bubblegum ska girl to the elegant woman (with abs of concrete) Stefani has become it is chronicled by the longevity of her band.
I'm optimistic that this new release due in September will be another fantastic eargasm but then again- ya never know. Let's put it this way, I'll take a couple good singles.
The announcement of the album title was big news on their site
