Someone is throwing an ass load of money into the Plain White T's. Didn't we all think they were on their way to the big time with "Delilah', such a sappy love tap, remember?
That was years ago what happened? Unlike their peers they didn't pound the hell out of the tour circuit but during that time there were a whole lot of other skinny legged lovelorn rocker boys climbing up the ropes.
How appropriate the new video titled "Boomerang" is the newest offering from PWT. Any good? Well, its pretty too watch. The melody is simple and there is the nice falsetto chorus and that's it.
Rather bland generic cereal teetering somewhere between Disney Chanel and Fox Family. Safe, clean happy.. boring.
Now with a check in hand (seriously, someone is investing in these guys and with some proper funds too) where do they go? They've lost their core audience with age alone. Could they be the new Jonas Brothers? Well, they really aren't cute enough to snag that title.
Hmm.. I predict a pre teen scream fest for these guys which will do them good in the mall circuit but there wont be any large returns on the investments being given to them.
Whats the deal?
They fell off the bike they're boomeranging back on so to speak and all we get is this happy little daddy and a video that's pretty (rhymed that one- sassy no?)
