What the hell sort of madness is this and when is Pitbull going to get some cred??! So there is a big contest going on to get Pitbull to perform at a Walmart in Alaska. The store with the greatest number of likes on their Facebook page gets the concert-The contest is a co-promotional venture between Sheets-brand Energy Strips and Walmart. Are we trying to get rid of him?

Yup.  Apparently a campaign has been started by Powered by the #ExilePitbull hashtag, Something Awful guys David Thorpe and Jon Hendren started the campaign to send Pitbull to the island of Kodiak, Alaska on Twitter, and it's been a wild success.

According to Pitbulls interviews with GQ he makes no bones about being a media whore- he is a business and admits it.

Along with Kodak, Bud Light, and Voli, Pit endorses Dr Pepper and Zumba Fitness, which builds workout programs around his music. He also has equity in these dissolvable tongue squares called Sheets Energy Strips. Last year he made a reported $6 million this way, being hiphop’s foremost shill. What his new songs sound like are the pages in a portfolio, or a really engaging PowerPoint presentation on synergistic potential.
