So two albums and I am working my way through em track by track.
Weezer scare me… they are too unpredictable and I have been nailed their last two times. The Red album was announced by the killer “Pork And Beans” but the rest of it sucked. Raditude was worse.
But four songs in I am verily impressed except for “Memories” which we knew. “Smart Girls” and “Ruling Me” are ace tracks and the kiddie “Insects” works for me… so a coupla more tracks.
But Weezer we know. Gasoline Silver are something else. Three songs in at two are completely killer and one isn’t but it isn’t terrible either. With the lead singers Dylan if Dylan had sounded young instead of old when he was young and such literate lyric it takes you back. Also, they use the harp as a major instrument. An excellent band and I may have to invest more.
