The surprise of the year has been Eric Contractor whose debut album Night Escapre, a baroque pop of immense power and beauty. Now we get to see him live on Wednesday at Sidewalk Cafe -a 7pm set.
Monday – Common – Highline Ballroom – Remember when Common was an important rapper? I haven't heard the new one yet but Iit is supposed to be a return to form.
Tuesday – Young Jeezy – Gramercy Theater – Gangsta rap and the man has the voice for it, definitely worth checking out.
Thursday – TSO – Orchestrated Christmas original followed by orchestrated rock classics.
Friday – Kiss FM Feat Chrisete Michele – All topnotch love jams, especially Chrisete -who has hd a quiet year.
Saturday – Michael Feinsteins – Feinsteins – The cabaret star at his very own room, should get you in the spirit of the season on Christmas Eve.
Sunday – Knicks Vs Celtics – MSG – Let's let the season begin!
