I have this sense of imprending doom hovering over tonight. Paul Kantner? Why the heck am I checking them out. I dunno.
A coupla years ago I wrote a typically snotty post about bands were going going to hell and one of my nominations was Jefferson Starship (U2 were the rest most properly. Anyway, Starship singer Cathy Richardson heard about it and put it on her FB wall.
SO I felt bad and became a Facebook friend and when a PR Agency asked Helen if there was any one who wanted to cover Cathy playing live at BB King's, I volunteered (of America's).
I didn't realize it was Kantner's 70th birthday tour round the States and now listening to a live concert at the same venue, I am a touch nervous at the prospect.
Anyway doors are 6pm, show is 7pm, at BB King's. Fifty bucks SRO. See you there… I'll be the one with the earplugs.
