What happened to Pat Boone? He has always preached some right-wing nonsense but now he is jumping on that stupid Birthers bandwagon. The video below comes from a San Francisco Chronicle interview during which he declared:
‘I was in Kenya about a year and a half ago and everybody there says, 'You know he [Obama] was born here.'
He is a member of the Beverly Hills Tea party, so what else could we expect? And this is not the only absurdity he declared: "Why else would he be hiding all his records? He is spending millions of dollars so we do not have his records… And experts have already looked at and been able to verify that this long form document is a fraud.’
‘But the media ignores it….a total fraud. A photo-shopped fraud.’
‘Growing up in Indonesia, he used to read the Koran in Arabic… so that was instilled in him as a young boy…he hasn’t celebrated any Christian holidays in the White House, but he does Ramadan.’
Ramandan! Where did he get that from? Could someone tell Boone he needs some psychiatric evaluation! Of course he thinks that Michelle Bachman would be a good president as ‘we will be in very good hands if she is the president.’
Boone may have been the second biggest charting artist of the late 1950s, behind only Elvis Presley, but he recently wrote two articles claiming that the theory of evolution is an ‘absurd’, ‘nonsensical’ ‘bankrupt false religion’, and another one drawing analogies between gay rights protests and terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India.
Either he is on drugs or he is a total moron.
