“We’ve had the idea for a while – not to shoot a full video, but shoot a short montage of songs from the record and put a little story together,“ so said Brenden Urie of Panic at The Disco.
And so it shall be. In conjunction with the release of their new cd ‘Vices and Virtues” we get this potentially jazzy video montage. Montage, is a great word not used nearly enough.
“It’s something we’ve never done before. We love the music, but under that we want to make things as dramatic and theatrical as possible. There’s dancing, there’s choreography and a lot of cool little surprises. We can’t wait to show you guys!”
March 22 will be the release date for this very long awaited cd. My opinion of the single “Ballad of Mona Lisa” seems to fluctuate like teh temperature. Looking forward to the total package. After the theatrics of “A Fever You Cant Sweat Out”, my expectations may be set too high. But we shall see soon enough.
I think the USA could use some tour information too considerding they opted to hit Europe first.
