Brendon Urie was suffering a fever of 102, with potential malaria. Needless to say, he had to call out sick from work. So what do ya do? Well, most bands would have canceled the gig- done a reschedule. Not Panic!.
Instead they gathered up their friends to become guest vocalists for the Salt Lake City Show on Saturday October 8th. Dallon Weekes (the band's live bassist), Tyler Glenn of Neon Trees, Ransom of King Niko, and Ash of Exit Strategy all helped the band perform, odd dont you think?
What went down is almost a tribute album. The setlist shows what could eventually be just that. This is a good side bad side thing. I am unsure if they offered a refund but ya gotta admire 'show must go on' mentality.
The video below shows it wasn't so bad- the crowd seems ok with it. Best news of all… Urie does not have malaria.
Get well soon!
