Opening Of Spiderman Broadway Put Off Till March

The opening of (can’t we first fix the name?) “Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark” , the Broadway musical I reviewed (in previews) last year, has been put off again till march.
They wanna fix the second act, fix the ending, fix anything…
This is simple: if the score didn’t suck we wouldn’t much care and they’d have a lot less to fix.
Bono and the Edge, the, habloodyha, composers, can rewrite for the rest of their lives, but they won’t get away from the lack of any songs whatsoever.
NOT ONE MEMORABLE SONG.
Sure, the second act is a disaster, and sure, they need a lot more flying about, but compared to the terrible score, this is knee tucking.

Imagine “The Sound Of Music” with, even, “Wicked” score.

Perhaps it can’t survive a lousy book, but perhaps it can. I mean, it looks good enough. But it definitely can’t survive a score without any songs. Imagine “My Fair Lady” without any good songs instead of everyone being a masterpiece.
