1. Digging For Something (Acoustic) – Superchunk – Opening for Bright Eyes (along with 2/3 of Sleater Kinney) at Radio City in March and I can’t wait. Any band that can write a line as good as “I don’t know if I can dance this slow but I can try”, deserve to be rich. So I forgive em for being rich.
2. Do It Again – Holy Ghost! – This song is so fucking aesome it makes me sick with pleasure. Great lyric, and god that bass just throbs throughtit. Unspeakable genius.
3. Pack Up – Eliza Doolittle – It is like a patchwork of samples and each one is better than the one before.
4. Hold It Against Me – Britney Spears – She has to work with Holy Ghost! or at least James Murphy.
5. Rainbows In Gasoline – The Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger
6. Rubber – Yuck – You think you know watcha gonna get but you ain’t heard it till you’ve heard it -believe me!
7. One For You, One For Me – Bright Eyes – Conor said he thought this album was stripped down compared to Cassadega but the question aint the arrangements, its the songs. I dunno…
8. Love All Around – Tina Dico
9. Our Hearts Are Wrong – Jessica Lea Mayfield
10. Run Me Over – The Babies – Too early to give up on this one…
