"On A Clear Day You Can See Forever", Harry Connick Jr on Broadway

Harry Connick Jr is preparing for the Broadway revivial of “On A Clear Day You Can See  Forever” .

Descrbing his new roll Connick states “Man, this is so different. It’s by far the most intricate character I’ve had to play. Definitely the most emotionally demanding thing I’ve ever had to do on stage,”

In the original script,  a widowed psychologist hypnotizes a young woman to help her quit smoking but discovers that his patient in a previous life was a 1940s jazz singer –and promptly falls in love with the long-gone woman. In the update, the psychologist falls in love with the jazz singer while treating a gay man.  What?!

Just a wacked out sorta hipster New York show that now takes on new turns as its ‘conceptualized and reworked’, this means it’ll be more risqué’ then the 1965 play or 1970’s film.  The show is being recreated by Michael Mayer of “Spring Awakening” and “American Idiot” fame- need we say more?

TheShow opens this Sunday December 11th
