Gigwise came up with their top ten bands to replace Oasis at the top of the rock and roll scrap heap. Over here it is Radiohead versus Coldplay. Arctic Monkeys second woofer in a row blew it for them, Franz ferdinand too disco oriented, Muse too weird, and nobody else has really registered. Gigwise comment of their number ten pick Coldplay is the one line review of the year: Bedwetters in on sales alone. If I don’t find a reason to call a band bedwetters in the next two days I am not the blogger I thought I was.
