Wavves continue to release free songs on the internet, and their last one, ‘TV Luv song’, starts with a guitar punk-explosion followed by wavy rhythms and drunk vocals about Nathan Williams’ love for TV.
One sure thing, you will not spend hours to decipher the lyrics, he is wasting his time, all the time, but he is alright with that, and he got TV. That’s it.
But Wavves, like Best Coast which are currently touring with them, are not about lyrics, and the1:44 minute song is just a fun-fuzzy-sunny sound ready to be consumed.
