In the past couple of years we've suffered through everybody from Bob Dylan to Justin Bieber forcing feeding us Christmas albums, and, though, honestly, I kinda like the Zims " Must Be Santa", even Buble sucked.
Maybe there is no way to make a Christmas album without sounding like a soul sucking Scrooge.
I guess we will find out because here come this years contenders. Including a personal fave, Colbie Cailat:
Rod Stewart
Cee Lo Green
Lady Antebellum,
Smokey Robinson
Tracey Thorn
The only album that has a chance of being worth the price of admission is Tracy and then again… there is a built in catch. If you aren't being faithful to the original why bother and if you are being faithful to the original, why bother? Do you need to hear the Rod album in order to know what it sounds like?
