Madonna is currently doing her ‘MDNA’ world tour, and she continues with the provocation and the dare-it-all. After her direct ’attack’ on the president of the French Front National, Marine Le Pen, who got the swastika treatment during a concert in Tel Aviv, Madonna decided to deal with another taboo: female nudity in a Muslim country.
The 53 year-old singer, while performing in Istanbul, began a sort of strip-tease during the song ‘Human Nature’ and pulled down her bra, showing her right whole nipple. And it was not a wardrobe malfunction if you see what I mean.
Ok some people are gonna say, she is too old for this, she wants the attention as if she was still 25! I said no, that’s not the point, she didn’t do this in the US, during the Super Bowl half time, she did it in a Muslim country, and there’s a big difference.
Actually, let me rephrase this, the Janet Jackson incident had caused so much brouhaha here in the US, that if Madonna's nipple doesn't cause her any trouble, I will definitively think the American Christian conservatives are worst than whoever is at the head of Turkish Religious Affairs.
Now Turkey is not the worst of all Muslim countries, Madonna was playing in Abu Dhabi just before Istanbul, and there are no reports she did the same thing over there, because, if she had done it, she would have been arrested! Now this would have been really like the two words she had written on her back.
