If you look in the archives you will see my extended rave about Daniel Radcliffe in Broadway's "How To Succeed In Business Without really Trying'" but if you had asked me earlier about Radcliffe stepping into Robert Morse shoes I would have been pained.
So I could be wrong.
The Jonas Brother who is replacing Radcliffe, Nick, is the most talented of the three but he is only 18 years old and though he appeared in "Annie get your Gun" at the age of eight, is that enough or in Les Miz a coupla years later. If he flops, then what? Do they drag him out every night like a dog's dinner.
This is all a little "Chicago" like star turn stuff, the same way Melanie Grithith played Roxie Hart. How can he carry the show? Nick will be in the show from January 24th to July 1st. The month of January will feature Darren Criss of Glee.
