Sharon Van Etten will release her new album ‘Tramp’ on February 7th 2012, following her last year Epic LP. The album is produced by The National’s Aaron Dessner, and features many collaborations from the indie scene, like The National’s Bryce Dessner, Beirut’s Zach Condon, Julianna Barwick, Wye Oak’s Jenn Wasner, the Walkmen’s Matt Barrick, and Doveman’s Thomas Bartlett.
A new tune of the upcoming album, ‘Serpents’, which features Aaron and Bryce Dessners, Barrick, Wasner and Bartlett, has been shared on the internet. The song is slowly expanding with Sharon’s clear voice over enraged culminating guitars and an overall rocking atmosphere, that seems to announce something dangerous. A little bit like a scene from wide-screen western movie, just before a duel under a burning sun.
