New Order are reforming for two charity gigs but without bassist Peter Hook.
You might remember my review of Hook's awful concert playing his first band, Joy Division's, Unknown Pleasures, in it's entirety. A night after the Irving Plaza show, Hook accepted $10,000 from a fan to play with the band. This lead to a huge fight with Bernard Sumner and now New Order is reforming to play on October 17 at Ancienne Belgique in Brussels and October 18 at La Bataclan in Paris will not include him.
According to Pitchfork, "The shows will benefit ailing film producer Michael Shamberg, who produced a number of the band's early videos.
