Both of these song are as good or better than anything on Relapse especially “Elevation” (are those Dre beats?: it seems to thump hard on every third beat…). And I LOVED RELAPSE.
Killing In The Name – Rage Against The Machine
Sure I used to hate Tom Morello with a passion I usually reserve for Bono but he was so excellent at the rock and roll hall of fame I changed my mind. And this song, I dunno Brett, I see what you don’t like about Morello but Simon Cowell should be shot at down. Let’s Go Rage!!! The song is a noisy mess which will have to have the shit bleeped out of it to get on the BBC.
The Motions – Matthew West
Ahhh yes. Contemporary Christian Pop…. it’s all so Rocket Summer. A superb power pop ballad and one of the biggest spirituals of the year.
Elevatas – Robin Thicke – This is just filthy dirty hip hop R&B. It’s just wrong that’s all. With Kid Cudi’s worst rap to date but how bad dya think that is?
Big Money – Game – This is terrible. Maybe Games worst moment to date. Go and listen to “Getting To The Money” and get the stink out of your mouth.
Carry Out – Timbaland – This is the great Timberlake reunion? Ugh. I’m throwing up in my mouth…
