New Kate Bush Video

Kate Bush is an absolute weirdo.  Not Bjork weird, just odd.  Evident that time does not cure this issue is the latest video from her newly released lp. A 'winter themed album' released on November 21, we get a song that starts out pretty status quo, and morphs into a giant "WTF?!"

"Fifty Words For Snow" a cute Eskimo themed ditty if you're so inclined to abstract.  Head over to NPR, those highbrows are toasting it with Perrier and wearing sweater vests about it. Me? A bit to ethereal a little too 'hipper than you'

One thing you cannot debate is that Bush has remained true to her brand.  Like Bjork, thumbing her nose at the whole cliche' of woman in music.  So for that I offer a high five, but as for entertainment I am more amused than entranced.

I may be a bit more type A.  Check out what NPR rambled with

Powdery fantasia. Contemplative. Winter matins. Playful. Opium reverie. Grounded. Ghost story. Sensual. Artistic recalibration. Unhurried. Drummer's holiday. Quiet. Ode to the white keys. Imaginative. Exploration of the lower register. Floating. Mother-son duet. Solitary. Snowed-in erotica. Collaborative.

'Snowed in Erotica' thats my favorite.

This is self serving hipster party background music.
