I liked “Power” fine -no it didn’t have staying power and yes the “ass/hole” rhyme was horrible but it was an invigorating up yours to the world in general.
Better still is the recently leaked (and available as an mp3 on Kanye’s blog) “See Me Now” featuring Beyonce and Charlie Wilson. It is weirdness defined, a chaotic mash up of voices and raps, and though the rap is a little on the weak side, it is almost jumping out of its skin with pleasure. Six minutes plus. Gotta love it.
