I love this song. It is loose raw power overall sound and lyric, what I was hoping this new one would be. Like a lot of the old NY+CH. It's got punk and blues values and not the technical geeky middle class blues and punk which has sort of destroyed real deal stuff (but has kept it alive and selling at least).
Right off it strikes me as real from gut/heart and soul not over/thought with the usual team of designers and definitely NOT contaminated by ANY music industry homogenizing which has all but destroyed musical "staying power".
Bravo to NY/CH for not belonging to the "cut paste and fix everything" pro tooled to death fake rock club. It's what TRUE rock should be… Rebelious Primitive Art with whatever comes out of the soul at the time of creation …
Not everyone is going to like it and hopefully THAT is the point.
