My Fave Tracks, Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010 -by Iman Lababedi

1. Here Comes The Singularity – Killing Joke – Usually with KJ the rhythm descends ever downwards; a vat of despondency knocking on hells door. On this heavy melodic rocker it pulls upwards towards Jaz Coleman’s melodic, chanting vocal.
2. Love More – Sharon Von Etten – A dreary road to nowhere.
3. Scots Wha Hae – Robert Burns And Mike Ogletree – The pitter patter of the drums fuels the forward momentum and the syncopated rhythm are defiant in the face of convention. It’s like a highland fling has just taken off at Mercury Lounge and you are not sure why.
4. Understand It All – Cloud Nothings
5. Underwater To – Tyvek – Punk rock band of the moment
6. Kisses (Electric Sunset Remix) – Kisses – Like being danced on by Elves.
7. 5:15 Train – A Sunny Day In Glasgow – Like experimenting with hard drugs: mind bending  but it might not be good for you.
8. S&M – Rihanna – Ooooh, stingy
9. Rano Pano – Mogwai
10. Bring The Light – Beady Eye
